Lucy Lim, Sign Language Interpreter - Cari Makan Poskad Malaysia

Wow, I found out about Lucy Lim in Cari Makan Poskad website when I am surfing the Internet! I known her since I am young teenager who joined PMY (Pusat Majudiri Y for the Deaf) in YMCA Kuala Lumpur. Today, she retired from PMY but, she still serve her service as sign language interpreter for Deaf community because she loved Deaf people! :D She helped Deaf people on many times when they have the problem about the the communication with the hearing people. She always support and encourage the Deaf people can do better! Great job, Lucy Lim.

"CariMakan #14: Lucy Lim, 48, is a sign language interpreter. She is from Kuala Lumpur and has been working with the deaf since she was 19. Lucy believes deaf people deserve more educational facilities, as well as job opportunities. Her dream is that Malaysian organizations would take sign language more seriously, so that more people would be keen on taking it as a job in the future. - Story by Nafise Motlaq"
