INNER VOICES - Deafbeat 10th Anniversary @ Damansara Performing Arts Center (DPAC), Damansara Perdana, Malaysia

In celebration of its 10th anniversary this year, DeafBeat will collaborate with a young local director, Yeo Lyle, who has performed in Taiwan, Singapore and Shanghai, in a special concert that will leave hearts thumping and audiences inspired.

DeafBeat comprises eight deaf youth who have undergone many challenges and obstacles in their lives simply because they cannot hear. In spite of their disability, they are determined to “hear” the drums and their perseverance, determination and hard work have enabled them to overcome their disability. DeafBeat has performed at both local and international events since 2007 including at the “The Awakening” concert in KLCC, the Asian Festival of Inclusive Arts in Phnom Penh, and the Brave Festival in Wroclaw, Poland.
